After a stop in England and Ireland's County Cork, we cross the equator to arrive in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, the Falkland Islands and Ushuaia, Argentina. Sailing past Cape Horn, The Drake Passage leads to Antarctica. You will experience nature and wildlife that will steal your breath away... and one very few will ever see or photograph.
It is a profound experience to set eyes upon Antarctica for the first time.
There are breathtaking vistas, otherworldly wildlife and the journey itself that leaves an indelible mark on visitors. This is a land of paradoxes. Antarctica is the world's biggest desert that is also the world's largest ice sheet. The ice is nearly two miles thick. This continent has been virtually unexplored and belongs to no nation. Antarctica is protected by an international treaty for peaceful scientific pursuit. Few places on our planet are as otherworldly as Antarctica, with its raw sculpted landscapes awash in blue and white. Here, nature is at its most flawless. It is an experience that's sure to transform even the most seasoned photographer.
